She is a very nice highly driven hunting companion that has a staunch point and a superb nose. Tara tracks the duck on the water with ease and loves to hunt any kind of game you desire. She moves fluidly and can easily last all day in the field. This may well be Tara’s last litter. Her offspring from her first litter have proven to be of excellent quality with 2 qualified for Kleemann at 2½ years of age. Another, Orie vom Riverwoods, was the second highest scoring Solms dog in the USA for 2009. Tara’s second litter has tested well with 5 Prize I Derby scores on 6 dogs tested. Five of the 6 dogs had first time handlers. |

Quickstep vom Hege-Haus 0084/02 D1, SOLoE1, S1, VGP1 (321 pts), VBR, VBRE, HDO, HN, 2005 IKP 1 (136), Fw: V2 Yves KS vom Hege-Haus x Wildrose vom Hege-Haus Quickstep completed the International Kurzhaar-Prüfung with a perfect score with Mr. Siegfried Hofstetter as the leader. Quick was the V5 Rüden at the IKP. Quick was taken to England after the IKP and did not participate in the Kleemann. Quick is a strong hunter with intense game drive. He covers open fields thoroughly and is extremely easy to manage in the field. He has an excellent nose and a high and proud head carriage. Quick moves through the field with an easy gliding motion making his search look effortless as he manages the search. He is a very quiet and affectionate dog that is a pleasure to be around. This is a very proud and noble Rüden. We look for this breeding to produce pups with excellent conformation and ability. Both parents are rated “V” (Excellent) in conformation, have tested through the VGP with Prize I scores, and are proven producers and hunters. Cheeky is a very substantial female with outstanding pigmentation. She is easy to handle and is very balanced in all manners of hunting, whether field, water or forest. Cheeky is completing several hunt tests this year, to include the 40-Hr SW blood track. Eiko is from a very famous and old Austrian kennel. He is the result of a KS Birko von der Weiherwiese linebreding. Birko was a very strong sire in the mid 1980s. Eiko was trained and handled by his owner through the Kleemann championship. She is intense on point and hunts at medium range. However, her best work is in the water, where she continues to demonstrate exceptional desire and cooperation, finding crippled birds in any type of cover, even diving under water to chase diving ducks trying to escape. Harley vom Beaver Creeks 1031/05 D1, S1, VGP1 307 pts, VBR, HN, HD-B, Fw: V; 2007 President's Award and 2007 Ehren Praesident's Gold Medallion, both for having the highest VGP score at NADKC hosted tests during the year. M: Regal vom Riverwoods In the field, Harley is consistent and productive. He has an efficient hunting style that lends itself to endurance, he can hunt all day for multiple days, and he adjusts his range appropriately to the cover and game. In the water, Harley maintains that efficient movement and uses his excellent nose to find and retrieve ducks. His sire was the highest scoring VGP dog in NADKC in 2004 and his grandsires, CH Graf KS vom Vehner Moor MH, CD and Kristan KS vom Pottsiepen, were well known producers and tremendous dogs. This breeding should produce some high desire dogs with excellent cooperation and natural ability. We are relying on the past proven success of the Beaver Creeks, Pöttsiepen, and Riverwoods lines and expecting outstanding pups based on the VGP success of the parents and grandparents on both sides.
