Blair is a moderately sized female and a phenomenal dog in the field – she adjusts her range based on the terrain – closer for forest work, moderate for mixed prairie/brush, and farther for wide open grasslands. She has been the first of all of my dogs to figure out each new species of wild birds we've hunted. She has actively hunted woodock and prairie grouse, tons of wild pheasant and quail, doves, ducks, some rabbits, and has recovered several deer. She is my best pointing dog by far and is a natural retriever. Blair has a ton of energy and endurance in the field but is quite relaxed and content just to lay quietly in the house. Both of her previous litters have been phenomenal on a variety of game and have nice conformation.

Achilles is a nicely muscled, thick bodied and balanced male that is within the breed standard for height (65cm). He has a lot of drive and endurance and has actively hunted a wide variety of game including wild pheasant, quail, prairie grouse, woodcock, ducks, doves, rabbits, raccoons, and blood tracked multiple deer. He nicely quarters a field and is a medium-range dog, and his water search is phenomenal – he absolutely thrives in the water. He is truly a companion hunter and genuinely loves to retrieve. In the house he is very relaxed and has never been a “chewer” – I could trust him even as a youngster to be in the house alone. His attractive appearance turns heads everywhere he goes. Multiple judges and breeders have considered him for breeding. He has a lot to offer and it is equally present in his offspring. He has had two previous litters, and both are proving to be incredible duck hunters, upland dogs, trackers, and family pets.

This is a repeat breeding of one of our best litters to date. This will be Blair's third and final litter. The pups from this same pairing in our D litter have been incredible in field and water, consistent in conformation, and have received a lot of compliments - by judges, other breeders, seasoned hunters, outfitter guides, and trainers.

Diva is a delightful and elegant DK, with much passion and energy bridled with cooperation and purpose. Diva is conformationaly correct with correct female attributes and movement. Diva is 62cm.

Divas field search is methodical, groundcovering and sweeping. She is a rock steady pointer and a correct retriever. She hunts well by herself and one or two people and she also hunts well with other dogs and many people as is needed in her homeland on the prairie of South Dakota. Diva is a succesful blood tracker and also works well hunting ducks and geese. Diva is what a DK should be; brains, beauty, stamina and temperment.

Knox is a male with a typical male head and very good posture. He has a tight back and a correct underline and good angulations. At the breeding show, the height was 66 cm. He received the form value excellent. Knox is peace within himself. He is an absolutely water-loving dog. The leadership manners are at their best. His greatest joy is retrieving. Retrieving is in the blood of the entire K litter.

Knox is a capable hunting companion. In character, form and enthusiasm for work, he reminds us strongly of his grandmother "Annabelle KS von der Königsleite”. He shows a wide, very systematic search with good head position and very good ground covering. Knox is very obedient and willing to please. It's a joy to see him in the field. He is level-headed and calm when he is bloodtracking; he wants to consistently get to the dead/wounded game.

Bee (a.k.a Eefje) is the next generation of noble offspring from Adlertal kennels. Bred to be a tough working dog and following the desired qualities of the DKV breed standard, Eefje is a blessing to receive. With many gratitudes to her breeders (135 years) and heritage we are delighted to present Bee vom Adlertal! Eefje has the temperament highly desired to be calm in the home and love toward young children. Her high intelligence allows her to tolerate feline pets in the home, yet in the field has the desire to dispatch fox and hares. Eefje hunts from September through March hunting season for various grouse, partridge, quail, waterfowl, pheasant, etc. She was lucky to hunt game in Europe and North America in 2023. Dr. Dagmar judged her show conformation to earn a V1 at a young age. Eefje has the prime qualities desired to breed and bring joy to other pet owners.

Amigo is a compact, Powerful, elegant male of the middle loft (65 cm height). He scored 2nd highest at his Kleemann. It impresses with its dark pigment and its pleasant nature. He’s friendly and stress-free towards conspecifics and shows exceptional willingness to learn. Already in the first year of the exam he was able to deliver impeccable performances and at the climax the VGP insist.

Just like his father Jester KS Anjules as well as his grandfather Dexter KS von der Königsleite, he shows great Services in the water. On the occasion of the Solms, Amigo was able to show this and received a well-deserved “h” in the subject Browse with Duck. He will in the meantime used on duck and drive hunts and shows Perseverance, the will to find and great pointing manners. Especially the calm and concentrated work in the Welding work. When it comes to predators, he is uncompromising and intelligent and in return loving and uncomplicated in the family. I would describe Amigo as a “cool sock”!

Emmi is a striking female with a medium build and dark pigment. She displays a very calm and loving temperament but is also extremely driven and concentrated in the field and water. She is cooperative, intelligent and has picked up all training and commands quickly. It is a joy watching her work in the field and water. From seeing her naturally back other dogs in the field and watching her search for ducks, she is one of the best dogs I have owned. Emmi is a true testament to the DK system. She has proven herself to be an outstanding mother, producing her first litter in 2022. All nine of her pups were healthy and strong and consistent in size and temperament, seven of which tested through derby, six achieving all prize 1’s and one prize 2. Her instinct to care for the puppies was amazing to witness. She was extremely attentive to all their needs. Seven out of the nine pups tested through derby with six prize 1’s and one prize 2.

Kosmo is a dark brown pigmented medium sized (64 cm tall) male with a beautiful coat. He’s described as a having a masculine head, very well-set ears, ideal top line and excellent conformation. Even as a young DK, he was thought to become and impressive male do to his confident stature. Kosmo is characterized by a high level of enthusiasm while working in the field, forests and water (live duck grade 4h). His confidence contribute to why he was able to achieve such high scores within his tests. He is always very persistent and enthusiastic when working. He is a male dog that has a positive, self-confident nature and is socially acceptable with other dogs. His family-friendly and open-minded demeanor towards people, especially children, is remarkable

Xhey is an exceptional and passionate hunter. During her education, her leader Frank O’Leary, whom has raised and owned more Kleemann dogs than anyone in the country, said “Xhey was the best hunting dog in the kennel”. Xhey’s search has twice been awarded 4h and noted as an “impressive nose driven, expansive, intense search always adjusting for wind and terrain.” Xhey’s point (4h) is intense, stanch and her manners on moving game are impeccable. Her impressive nose and search enables her to reliably and quickly find game; combined with her cooperation and lovely personality, she is a special dog.
At the 2023 Zuchstschau in Alberta, Canada SZR Jeff Martin commented “Overall, this dog is very correct. In movement, her stride and reach is powerful and fluid. Today she fully deserves a V rating”.

Wren is a very handsome and noble male with excellent substance. His leader Frank O’Leary said “he has been a pleasure to lead in his education and has demonstrated outstanding prey drive, an excellent spacious and systematic search. In the water, Wren demonstrates tremendous passion and leaves no part of the pond unsearched. His VGP score should have been much better but he had to overcome leader mistakes”. At the 2023 NAKP, Wren received a perfect score prize 1(4h search) and prüfungssieger (test winner). Wren has a wonderful personality, in the house he is very calm and relaxed, in the field or water he is very driven. Mr. O’Leary said “Wren is a special dog, we usually we don’t keep males but when you see Wren and observe him in the field, water, and at home you will understand why”.

Kuntasch is a very methodical hunter, with an amazing nose and has a very determined character. Her searches are a thing of beauty and always in contact with the hunter.

Her testing carrier is one of the best, having finished 20 and 40 hr blood tracking both with prize 1. This shows the level of concentration she utilizes when hunting, yet easy to control and with a pronounced off switch when at home and not hunting. Her past two litters have been very uniform and she has produced outstanding puppies.

Meiko Vom Pottsiepen was imported to United States in 1995. He sired many wonderful dogs both in the field and show ring. We are fortunate enough to have semen from this magnificent DK, so we will be bring the old glory of Pottsiepen/ Hege Haus forward .He has been described as a dog of lifetime with wide searches and fantastic water retrieves. His nose and love of water were noted by all who had seen him hunt .he was absolutely perfect in all aspects. This dog is a mixture of old possipp and Hege Haus blood line.
His pedigree should speak volume to the quality of this dog .
