Zwinger vom Trocken Bach

Whelped: March 31, 2014 (3 males, 3 females)

***Hege-Haus Breeding***

Bessi KS vom Trocken Bach 0421/09
(Eberhard vom Hege-Haus x Atlanta KS vom Hege-Haus)
on point in Germany 2012
Derby Prize 1, VJP63, Solms Prize 1, VGP Prize 1 (336 pts – 4h search, 4h pointing, Winner of the Search at the Klub Rheinland VGP in Düboslar, Germany), IKP Prize 1, VBR, BTR, 2012 Dr. Kleemann Prüfung KS (perfect scores and top 10 at Zuchtschau), HD-A2, HN, Fw: V4.

Bessi had remarkable success in here education in Germany with Mr. Klaus Bommers as the leader. She completed the Derby, Solms, and VGP by the age of 20 months. At the 2011 IKP she received a Prize 1. Bessi shone at the 2012 Dr. Kleemann Prüfung receiving a perfect score and was in the top 10 Females at the Zuchtschau. Mr. Bommers, who has lead dogs for 30 years and trained for Hege-Haus for over twenty years, has repeatedly stated that Bessi vom Trocken Bach is the best dog he has ever had.

Bessi is the daughter of Atlanta KS vom Hege-Hof 0977/05, (Dagobert vom Hege-Haus x Rosemarie KS vom Hege-Haus) Derby Prize 1 (4h search), Solms Prize 1 (4h nose, 4h search, 4h water work with the live duck), VGP Prize 1 (334 pts – 4h search, 4h water work with the live duck, Winner of the Search at the Klub Rheinland VGP in Düboslar, Germany), IKP Prize 1(Claus Kiefer Award winner at the 2007 IKP - 4h nose, 4h pointing, 4h water work), VBR, 2008 Dr. Kleemann Prüfung KS (perfect scores with a 4h in the water search), HDO, HN.

Darwin KS vom Hege-Hof 0540/08

(Baron vom Hege-Haus x Dolly KS vom Altenbruch)
D1, S1 (4h nose), S1, VGP1 (312 points/full points, 4h nose, 4h water search without a duck), KS (perfect score), BTR, VBR, HN, HD-A1, FW. V1 (5 x V1), 3 x CACIB, 2 x CAC, 3 x BOB (all by the age of 27 months of age).

In addition to his success in his education, Darwin has been unbelievably successful in Zuchtschau events. Lead by Birgitta Krause-Hofstetter (Mr. Hofstetter’s daughter) in less than two years Darwin achieved:

Vielversprechend Jüngstenklasse, Stuttgart; Zuchtschau DK Südbaden sg.1.J; Ortenau-Jugend-Sieger V1, BOB, Anw. Dt. Jug. CH. VDH; Internationalen Rassehundeausstellung Offenberg V1, BOB, CACIB, Anw. DT.Ch. VDH, CAC, Rüde Gebrauchshundklasse (Titled Working Dogs); DK-Zuchtschau Südbaden V1; Zuchtschau Klub Kurzhaar Kurmainz V2; Spezial-Zuchtschau DK-Saar/Südbaden und Südwest V1, CAC (DK), Anw. VDH, BOB; DK Zuchtschau Rheinland V1; 2010 Kleemann Zuchtschau V3

At the Dr. Kleemann Prüfung, Darwin’s leader (trainer) was Mr. Siegfried Hofstetter, considered to be one of if not the best leader in Germany. Darwin performed admirably under most difficult conditions. The first day Darwin’s group was assigned field work with winds of 30 - 40 mph survival was the word of the day. Darwin’s search was purposeful and productive. Using his outstanding nose he was able to locate and point game under conditions no hunter would endure. The next day was the water work. Darwin crossed the pond upon command without hesitation and searched thoroughly without the duck. He made short work of his live duck search and retrieved flawlessly. For his efforts Darwin received his KS.

Anticipated Whelping Date:  May 18, 2014

Halla vom Sparta-GR 0783/09
D1, S2, AZP1, NAKP 1, HD-B2, FW: V2

M: Bacara KS vom Ahrenfeld  0719/06
V: Lasse KS von der Jydebek 0803/04

Download: Ahnentafel *

Halla is a beautiful dark ticked female who is a firecracker in the field and water.  She has been easy to train , is very cooperative and has an excellent nose with a ton of desire.  She has proven herself in heavy southern quail cover and the fields of Kansas and she adjusts very well to the terrain she is hunting. She showed an early love of water and has a persistent and thorough duck search.  Halla has a very nice temperament and a pleasure to be around.  Halla was the V2 female at the 2012 NAKP.

Halla vom Sparta-GR

Brock vom Hidden Creek 0772/11
D1, S1(4h Pointing),VGP 1 (296 pts), HN , HD-B1, Fw: SG

M: Cati vom Nemerower Holz    0718/07
V: Harley vom Beaver Creeks  1031/05

Download: Ahnentafel *

Brock is a large black ticked male with a very calm temperament.  He is laid back in the house and around children but it is game on in the field or the duck blind.  Brock was the high scoring NADKC Solms dog in 2012 and recently passed his VGP at 2 1/2 years old.  He is a natural retriever with an excellent nose, a stylish point,  and a roomy but controllable field search as he works for the gun very well.   His water work is excellent as he has proven many times in the bayous of Louisiana.

We are expecting a mix of both liver ticked and black ticked pups that should be good looking hunting machines that can blend very well into a family setting.

Hexe vom Sparta-GR Zb. Nr. 0788/09
Derby Prize I, (4H Search); Solms, Prize III; VGP Prize II, (4H Duck Search); HD-A2; Fw: SG

M: Bacara KS vom Ahrenfeld (Narziss KS vom Hege-Haus x Akazie KS vom Ahrenfeld)
V: Lasse KS von der Jydebek (Dagobert vom Hege-Haus x Here von der Jydebek)

Hexe (call name, Terra) is a biddable, well-proportioned, smaller female. (54 cm. – 52 lb.) She is the perfect combination of drive and cooperation for a first-time handler. Terra has an exceptional nose and points intensely. During the VGP, Terra’s 4H duck search exceeded 300 meters in dense cover. Her 4H field search in the Derby swept and thoroughly covered the entire field. As a blood tracker, Terra is careful and precise. Over the last two years, Terra has tracked and recovered six deer for her handler. In the South Dakota pheasant fields, Terra’s search is wide-ranging and thorough. In Pennsylvania grouse woods, she hunts closely and methodically.

Brocco von Solilo Zb. Nr. 0435/11
VJP 59, 63; Solms Prize I; VGP Prize I; HN; HD-A2; Fw: SG

M: Cathy vom Holtvogt (Rocky KS von Neuarenberg x Tessa von Neuarenberg)
V: Eiko KS von der Zista (Barro von der Zista x Arissa von der Zista)

Brocco (call name, Brock) is a very cooperative, well-proportioned, tall male (68 cm - 74 lb.). A powerful hunter, several judges at different times have remarked that he is “all business” in the field. Yet, Brock is calm, stable, and a joy to live with around the house. At his Zuchtschau, positive remarks include nice head and neck, good boned, top and bottom line correct. Intelligent and easy to train; Brock demonstrated a well-developed nose, intense points, and exceptional blood tracking skills from an early age. His search in a pheasant field is purposeful and wide-ranging; in the grouse woods, Brock hunts close and under control at all times. He is a determined, deliberate retriever, on land and in the water. During a duck search, he never quits.

Download: Ahnentafel *

We expect this Performance Breeding to produce calm, cooperative dogs with the right degree of drive and intensity in field; and strong, deliberate blood tracking skills in the forest. Both parents demonstrated exceptional noses and intense points as juveniles. Both have a strong duck search, yet they are biddable around the house.

Kora von der Madlage x Boss KS Tatameer

Though his testing speaks for itself, Bento's pedigree really piqued my interest.  Where Quentos was Boss to Flora, Bento is Boss to Kora (Flora x Ibo KS vom Delme Horst) which supports Roxy's(Ibo Grandaughter) motherline.  I fully expect just as much from my C- litter as I have so far gotten from the B- litter.  I want to get these puppies into experienced hands who will support the system that has produced the true Deutsch Kurzhaar.
