"Alli and I just returned from a trip to Saskatchewan, Canada. The real proof of the quality of the DK we own is in the field or marsh. Alli showed me that quality during our trip. On several occasions she hunted blind retrieves, trusting me there was a duck, sharptail or hungarian partridge down. Her passion for the hunt was amazing to watch!
We now will head to the more familiar waters of the Atlantic and the grouse and woodcock covers of northern Maine for the rest of our fall hunting season. The ability of our DKs to switch gears from the prairies to the thick alder runs or the Saskatchewan ponds to the rough and icy Atlantic is amazing. The Deutsch Kurzhaar is truly a great hunting companion."
