The event drew a record crowd of over 30,000 attendees.

The NADKC booth was prominent in the ‘German Aisle,’ with its hunting theme and slide show of many DKs in action. The booth was part of the ‘German Dog’ aisle again this year, set up by Dave Henderson, Rick Medina, and Steve Remspecher, Joe Gallo. DK at Pheasant Fest

2015 Pheasant Fest

It is exciting to work the NADKC booth at Pheasant Fest! It is also exciting to see all the other exhibitors. I just wish there was more time to see some of the programs.

Rick Hartle’s ten week old puppy really brought people to our booth. Pearl is a striking Schwarzschimmel. The older DKs were also an important part of our educational outreach. On Saturday, I introduced Gunner (Utah vom Riverwoods) to hundreds of Pheasant Fest attendees. I thought about saying ‘thousands’ because Pheasant Fest drew 22,654 over three days. Scott Vickers is a new member, and he let us have Gunner at Pheasant Fest. Ulfric vom Riverwoods, a littermate, was at Pheasant Fest with John Calandra …More

2014 NAKP

The North American Kurzhaar-Prüfung (NAKP) is the North American chance to showcase our amazing DK’s similarly to the way they are showcased in Europe at the IKP (Internationale Kurzhaar Prüfung). 2013 NADKC 20th Anniversary Annual Meeting

Well, it’s over now, but what an event it was! The 20th Anniversary NADKC Annual Meeting was hosted by the Upper Midwest Region in April of 2013 at the Milford Hunt Club. We were fortunate to have many members and guests attend, and a great time was had by all...

Even with all the preparations and time spent in planning for it, I wouldn’t hesitate to do it all again and organize another annual meeting. To see the finished product and to be able to see and visit with friends and to meet new ones from around our own country and abroad makes it all worthwhile. For this year’s annual meeting, the weather was perfect and the accommodations and staff at Milford Hunt Club were outstanding!…More
